During our recent trip to Texas, we managed to get out for some hiking and enjoyment of the wonderful landscape. While walking along a creek in Lost Maples, I was captivated by the play of light on the ripples of water as they passed over decaying Maple leaves. As beautiful as the area is in the big picture, it’s the little things that tend to catch my eye, and my imagination.
