Amazing Photo Handbags!

LMEimages has an arrangement with Gina Alexander handbags to provide clients with one of a kind photo handbags.   There are several companies offering photo handbags and I’ve sampled all of them.  Gina Alexander, hands down, provides the best quality bags.  The construction is impeccable and the details scream class and quality.  If they’re good enough for the likes of Oprah, Faith Hill, Kelly Ripa, Jennifer Lopez (just to name a few), they should work for my clients as well.  I’ve been carrying one for about a year now and it still looks like it did the day it arrived.  For those of you who know me, you know I’m hard on my handbags.  I live out of them.  I keep dog treats and water bowls in them.  I drag them to the beach too.  If the bag can withstand my abuse, it’s as indestructable as a bag can get.

HOW IT WORKS: After your portrait sitting, we discuss and select the best image for the bag.  Most of the bag designs work best with images that are wider than tall (landscape format or horizontal).  After that, we select the bag design that best fits your needs.  I then work with the bag template for your selected bag, indicating the correct position for the portrait.  I may even need to do a little digital work to optimize the image for the chosen bag design.  After that’s done, I indicate any options you may have selected then send the file with instructions to Gina Alexander.  It takes 4-6 weeks for most bags to be completed, a little longer for some designs.

One thing we try to avoid is using images with a white background.  The images are reproduced on the fabric used to make the bags.  Some speckling can occur in the printing process.  While it’s not noticeable when using a photo with a dark background, a white background is a challenge.  We can still do the white background but there’s an additional charge due the the likelihood of having to reprint the fabric.  If you think you might want to order a handbag, let me know before the sitting.  We’ll want to make sure we don’t shoot your entire session against a white seamless backdrop.  We’ll use a darker canvas instead (at least for part of your session).

Since I’ve been carrying my Gina Alexander bag, I’m regularly stopped by strangers asking where I got it and how they can get one too.  They are soooo much fun to carry.  They are expensive but when you think about it, if you add up the price you pay for a print and custom framing to hang a photo on your wall, it’s about the same cost.  With the handbag, you get to take your cherished photo with you and show it off to the world.  You also have a on-of-a-kind bag that everyone will notice and envy!
